Molalla seniors Myranda Bradshaw and Talyn Streight rallied against their rivals, Amanda Pruett and Esther Suelzle from Cascade, to pull off a 4-6, 6-2, 6-4 win in the District 2 girls double championship Thursday morning at Portland Tennis Center.

There was a sigh of relief when it was over. After surrendering a one set advantage in the District 2 girls doubles semifinals, Molalla seniors Myranda Bradshaw and Talyn Streight rallied to win the third and decisive set 6-3 over La Salle Prep’s Erin Flagg and Haley Yohn to advance to the girls doubles finals Thursday.

Despite giving up six unanswered runs over the final few innings, the Molalla Indians hung on to beat the Madras White Buffaloes 8-6 in Tri-Valley Conference softball action Tuesday, and thanks to help from La Salle Prep, the Indians clinched the regular season TVC championship.
