As often the case, the toughest animals to kill are the ones with their backs against the wall.Thursday night inside the Country Christian gymnasium, the Cougars found that out the hard way, as Veritas—needing the win to remain in the playoff picture—took the Cougars the distance before Country Christian was finally able to pull away for the five set 22-25, 25-16, 25-20, 16-25, 15-8 win.
