Molalla Fire silences siren

Fire chief updates city council on status of station siren after citizens complain of noise

Citizen complaints and system malfunctions led Molalla Fire District to shut down the station’s siren, which previously sounded at noon each day and alerted the community and volunteer firefighters whenever a 9-1-1 call came.
