With an on-time graduation rate of 75.23 percent for 2012, Molalla High School ranked well above the state average on-time graduation rate of 68 percent last week.

Colton seen as ‘a model school’ for graduation rates

Colton School District received good news when the Oregon school rankings came out last month. The school district is considerably above the Oregon state average on-time graduation rate of 68 percent having a 94 percent ranking of on-time graduates and 95 percent when the fifth year graduation cohort is included.

Police seek tips on shooting of Great White Egret

 State Police are investigating the shooting Thursday of a Great White Egret on the Vaughan Farm on South Macksburg Road near Molalla.Crystal Vaughan said she and her family heard four or five gunshots not far from their house  at about 9 a.

Before his talk began, Schrader, a Democrat from Canby who represents Oregon’s 5th District, had a few things to say about the need for Congress to pass a farm bill.
