OREGON CITY — A Molalla woman who said she wanted to help stray dogs pleaded guilty Wednesday to second-degree animal neglect in Clackamas County Circuit Court.

The House Natural Resources Committee today unanimously passed the Molalla River Wild and Scenic Rivers Act (H.R. 752), a bill introduced by Congressman Kurt Schrader (D-OR) that would protect more than twenty miles of the Molalla River under the Wild and Scenic Rivers Act.



Clackamas deputy saves suicidal woman from Molalla River

A Clackamas County deputy rescued a suicidal woman Tuesday night after she jumped into the Molalla River.At about 6:53 p.m., the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office received a call from a concerned mother who said her 48-year-old daughter was suicidal.
